CELL PHONES

Sable House has partnered with Shelter Alliance   in a used cell phone drive to help survivors of domestic violence. 

The Shelter Alliance works with domestic violence shelters nationwide. They will pay us for every cell phone donated (up to $50 per phone depending on the make and model). Once a phone reaches Shelter Alliance, it is either reused or recycled adhering to the strict environmental standards.

For every cell phone collected, a woman will receive an emergency 911 cell phone if she needs one or Sable House will receive a payment from the Shelter Alliance.

You can make a difference in the lives of women and children seeking a future free of violence simply by donating your old cell phone to Sable House.

Clothing and Household Item Donation Policy:
Because we have limited storage space, we can only accept items that are on the wish list above during business hours.  Occassionally we have a need for furniture items  however, please call for our current needs.  All items must be new or in excellent condition. 

The business office is open 9-5 Monday through Friday.   Due to emergencies it is sometimes necessary for staff to be away from the office during regular business hours, so we recommend that you give us a call before stopping by.
